Mission & Vision

From humble beginnings to a thriving, trusted senior care provider, our story is one of faith, service, and unwavering commitment to quality care.

Since its founding over 70 years ago, Rock of Ages has provided more than just senior care—we have built a legacy of compassion, dignity, and faith-driven service. What started as a vision to care for elders with kindness and respect has grown into a thriving community where seniors find belonging, support, and the freedom to live life fully. Rooted in strong values and a commitment to excellence, we continue to expand our mission, offering a range of services that meet the evolving needs of seniors and their families.

More Than Caregivers—A Family of Support.

Our caregivers don’t just provide support—we are faithful companions, trusted advocates, and extended family. Every member of our staff is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with residents and their families, ensuring they feel valued, secure, and empowered to live with dignity through life’s journey.

Meet Our Leadership Team

  • Chief Executive Officer

Bill brings over two decades of leadership in faith-based organizations and senior living communities.

His background in pastoral ministry, organizational coaching, and nonprofit consulting has helped churches and elder care teams across the country navigate meaningful transitions.

Bill’s leadership is deeply rooted in his belief that every person is uniquely gifted by God to live life fully. It’s a belief he lives out beyond work as well: he and his wife, Julie, are avid outdoors enthusiasts and explorers of the Oregon Coast.

Bill’s leadership style reflects his theology, seminary studies, and organizational leadership training. At Rock of Ages, Bill’s strategic mindset and heart for people foster a culture where trust grows, mission leads, and seniors are honored every step of the way.

  • Chief Financial Officer

With over 25 years in finance, auditing, and compliance, Ginger brings clarity, precision, and purpose to her role as Chief Financial Officer at Rock of Ages Retirement Community.

Her background spans government auditing, investment compliance, and nonprofit bookkeeping—experience that now supports faith-based senior care through wise financial stewardship.

Though new to senior living, Ginger thrives on aligning numbers with mission, using financial insights to support meaningful decisions. She was first introduced to Rock of Ages through a resident—a perfect example of how community drives connection here.

A proud mom of three boys, Ginger spends her free time leading youth camps, hosting exchange students, and creating a home where everyone feels they belong. Her faith and love for people make her a natural fit for the mission of Rock of Ages.

  • Executive Administrator

Jodi is the steady heart behind the scenes at Rock of Ages Retirement Community.

With over 20 years in faith-based leadership—and 16 spent caring for an aging Mennonite church community—Jodi brings deep respect for seniors and the stories they carry.

As Executive Administrator, she supports multiple departments, builds strong internal systems, and helps ensure that day-to-day operations reflect the mission of faith, dignity, and compassionate care. She thrives on connecting people, encouraging staff, and helping every resident feel seen, known, and supported.

A ranch kid turned island dreamer, Jodi finds joy in family camping trips, outings with friends, and good books. Her favorite part of the role?  Creating a culture where people genuinely belong and purpose is lived out daily.

  • Chief Operations Officer

Marci brings over 16 years of hands-on experience in senior care and healthcare operations to her role as Chief Operations Officer at Rock of Ages Retirement Community.

She began her career as a CNA and worked her way through nearly every department—HR, staffing, medical records, and more—giving her a rare, 360-degree perspective on what quality care really takes.

Her leadership style is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and action, with a focus on equipping staff and advocating for both employees and residents. Marci works across departments to ensure daily operations run smoothly and the mission of compassionate, faith-based care stays front and center.

Outside of work, Marci is a dedicated mom, beachgoer, and volunteer firefighter/EMT who believes in showing up wherever people need care.
